Effective September 2026. Tile Layout Calculator is a free, 100% client-side tool. All calculations — tile counts, waste factor, boxes needed, grout length, and the canvas layout preview — run entirely in your browser. The room and tile numbers you enter are never uploaded, transmitted, or stored on our servers; there is no backend for this tool to send data to.
There are none to use the free calculator. If you buy the optional Pro PDF-export upgrade, Stripe (our payment processor) collects your email and payment details to process the purchase — we never see or store your card number. We store your email and purchase record so you can restore Pro on another device later (via a 6-digit code sent to that email, no password).
Standard anonymous analytics via Google Analytics (page views, referrer, country, browser type) to understand usage, plus the Pro purchase email described above if you buy it. Nothing is sold.
